Today Justina was officially adopted by Paul!! Paul and I went to a hearing this morning where everything was found to be in order and approved by the judge. I was very nervous as it has been years since I have ever sat in a courtroom in front of a Judge. I could not seem to finish my sentences when asked questions and I told the Judge I was just nervous. After all was said and done Paul told me that the Judge gave him Legal rights but she was probably thinking I should have mine taken away for sounding like an idiot. Oh well, its over now:) We celebrated by getting dressed up and going to dinner at a nice resturaunt and having a cake with her NEW last name, BARLOW. We are both very thankful to the Lord for bringing this about as we have prayed for this the last 5 years.
Wow. Congrats Justina! Although I don't know if you want to officially be linked to this crazy family. I didn't even know this was something you guys were pursuing. Neither Paul nor Justina look too thrilled in the top picture. Are you sure this was a celebration? And when else were you in front of a judge?

ReplyDeleteYou guys are funny:) I knew you guys would ask what I was in court for. To be honest those were in the days I dont remember quite well. I was in lots of trouble at 16 and 17 years old so it could of been anything?? Its amazing how God changed my life completly around!!!! As for the top pic it was the only one that was not blurry and Pauls eyes were open:) I can post a blurry one if youde like:)
