Seattle 2010
We really had a great time in seattle!! Im surprised as I personally hate big cities. We stayed on Bainbridge Island which had a 35min ferry trip over to the downtown Seattle waterfront. The first day I took the girls over and stepped off the boat (did not take car) I was in
awe of the sights and smells. It was a short walk to Pikes Market from the waterfront. We did this I believe 3 times and once I took the car over so I could drive to the Seattle Premium Outlets. I was excited to eat as we have hardly anything were we live and nothing really good. First stop (besides starbucks) was the Crepe De France, where we had 2 different kinds of crepes, strawberry Nutella and a salmon crepe with some kind of delicious sauce poured over the top. The buildings were neat to see, especially the old ones. The kids and I really enjoyed the perfromers! Oh man, and the shopping was fantastic!!! They had a ross downtown where I bought this amazingly huge suitcase (biggest I had ever seen). I had to walk through downtown with it back down to the ferry, it wasd quite a site, but so worth it:)
After Paul was done training we stayed over in the Seattle Center area, right next to the space needle. We were going to eat there but I forgot to make the reservations. We hung out there for a day, took the girls to the childrens museum and the Pacific Science Center. I was so mad that I didnt have my camera that day. We also took in a Laser light show to the Beattles. The next day we rode the monorail over to downtown, close to Pikes Market again so Paul could say he'd been there. It was a Sunday so VERY crowded and stressful but it was ok.
We were suppose to get on a 10pm flight but we decided to go on a 6pm one instead as we were so tired of spending money.
The plane coming into Anchorage was horrible! Paul and Mercy were nauseated from the turbulance, bouncing and swaying. I was in tears holding on to Justinas and some guys arm who was on the other side of me. Paul and Mercy were on the otherside. Yes, Paul was not very fond of the death grip I had on this guys arm! :) No worries he was 50 and had bad breath:) Needless to say I was happy to be back on the ground!
Oregon 2010

Behold its the much talked about BFF in the upper left pick with her hubby (and our good friend), Andre and Jasmine. We did not want to leave them!!! We had sooo much fun hanging out, visiting and playing games. We were very ministered to and encouraged by these two people who love the Lord and desire to follow hard after Him. The Lord had us there for a reason no doubt about it:) When we drove down the road away from thier house I felt so thankful that they have been and will always be a part of our life no matter how far away we live.
Down in the bottom middle is my Aunt Celia who I love dearly and was very thankful to spend some time with her and my Uncle Kenny.
We realized that maybe we shouldnt put off seeing family and friends as much as we have! Utah will be next:) But someday Im determined to go somewhere other than Oregon, Washington and Utah:)

Were off...
Well today is the day. We are leaving tonight for Portland and my hands are literally shaking right now and my stomach feels yucky. I HATE to fly, for me its like getting on a really scary rollercoaster, having the guy come around and strap you in, and thinking why the heck am I doing this, GET ME OFF!!!
I have medication but I know its not strong enough. Last time I took 2 Valums and still got off a loaded plane, yes they had to open the door for me! When they asked me why I needed off the plane I told them "theres a wierd guy, he looks like a terreriost." You can imagine the looks everybody gave me. In my defense the plane was also delayed for mechanical reasons. Somehow I made it home:) So I think I may forgoe the medication and try some natural melatonin.
We plan on visiting family and friends before we head off to Seattle. Paul is doing a tower climbing training on Bainbridge Island (the whole reason were going). I will just have to go to Pikes Market and the Mall to kill the time:) Were staying through the next weekend so we can do the "vacation thing" in Seattle. I know we plan on going to the Seattle Center where we will go oup the Space Needle and have lunch and head over to the science center for a laser light show to Micheal Jackson, wooohooo. Then I will drag Paul to the monorail where we will head over to Pikes Market and eat french crepes and truffles, mmmm. I am nervous that I will forget somthing fun as right now I feel overwhelmed and loopy with all the things I have to do and organize.
Im bringing my camera of course so I will take pictures of my truffles and crepes for ya all to see:)
