We went walking on a river/beach when I told Justina to look for bear tracks as this was a popular bear hangout. Just then we heard this long grunt and then Justina says "here are some bear tracks" within seconds of eachother. Was I scared you ask...I was shaking like I always do when I think Im going to encounter a bear! I yelled for Paul franticly to walk us back to the truck but not before I got a couple of pics:)

Anybody ever watch Deadliest Catch on Discovery??? This is one of the popular crabbin boats on the show that was parked in the harbor. I actually dont care for the captain as he is crude and foul but it was neat to see somthn that we have watched many times on Discovery:)
We saw this 3 year old bear before we went to catch the ferry back home. He was hard to get a picture of as he was on the move and then he kept ducking down in the brush to eat his fish.

I have watched the Deadliest Catch (was totally hooked on the first two seasons) so when I saw the pic of the boat I was like, "Hey I know that boat." That's so cool. And not so cool about the near bear encounter. I'm terrified of running into a bear.
