Well, we lost our leaves a couple of weeks ago and now its been snowing off and on for a good week. I LOVE IT!!!!! I wish it would dump 3 feet over night! Its so pretty. It looks like a beautiful white blanket hand crafted by God. This is a view out our back deck, it looks like giant Christmas trees. The girls already want to bring out our Christams tree and start decorating ornaments. As for me, I want to start baking and packing on the winter fat to keep me extra warm:)

One thing I'm very jealous of is the natural beauty that surrounds you guys. One thing I'm definitely not jealous of - the cold! Oh and I don't know if I could handle the crazy days and nights. But all that nature-I love it!
ReplyDeleteActually Nancy I think you would be pleasently surprized with our cold. Today was absolutley sunny and I could walk out and feel completly comfortable with only a shirt on. (and pants of course) As for January I can wear a simple fleece. I think you guys should move up here! You would like it:)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately your season of limited daylight would send my depression over the edge, I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteI think we had more light durring the winter than this last summer. This summer had quite a bit of rain and dark gray skies. I felt sorry for your parents when they were here, not only because it was raining but because I was very close to being locked in a padded room. Between the darkness and Paul working really heavy hours, I was on the edge! But the summer before was great.
ReplyDeleteAnd then "Emily"(sometimes i use 3rd person)comes to visit and nothing but bad things happen. Im surprised Dad got on a boat this summer after the horrible experience of last year. He bounces back much quicker than I do :)
ReplyDeleteEmily, that was seriously weird! I felt horrible, I really hope you try again.
